WHAT TO
WEAR

Embrace the allure of vintage glamour travel.  Channel your inner pilot or chic flight attendant or simply don the attire of a globe trotting sophisticate.   The venue is a working distillery in a former airplane hangar, so choose sensible shoes over fashion heels and bring a jacket to ensure your comfort as you dance the night away!

HOW TO
GET THERE

Arrive in style however you like, but we suggest a ride share.  Once in the former Alameda Naval Air Station on Monarch Avenue, look for EBAC gala event signage.  Building numbers are painted on the building walls.  Pass the driveway that says Faction Brewing.  Continue to the next driveway and turn right.  Go through the gate in the fence and proceed to the rear of the building.  Ample parking and the event entrance will be in the rear of Gold Bar Whiskey Distillery, Alameda.

Food preparation information

The chicken and beef entrees are both gluten free. The vegetarian entree contains gluten and dairy, but can be made vegan and/or gluten-free upon request. Please notify batra.rani@gmail.com no later than Wednesday, November 5.

MISSION MESSAGE

Come fly with us this November and help EBAC kids soar to their full potential.

For over 25 years, the EBAC Auxiliary has supported East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC), raising awareness in the community and millions of dollars in support.

From its humble beginnings in 1952, when a group of East Bay families came together—with $45 and a room—to run a six-week program for children with special needs and learning differences, EBAC has grown into a powerful force for change. Today, with a $27 million budget, EBAC provides services and supports to more than 24,000 children and family members each year—helping them navigate turbulent skies and transforming lives throughout the Bay area.

Cruising Altitude

Help EBAC make fundraising history through our online auction, opening on November 1st and again on November 8th at our annual Gala, where we have clearance to help this amazing organization keep soaring to new heights.

Services include:

School-Based Behavioral Health

Trauma-informed Mental Health Counseling in over 40 schools decreases depression and anxiety, increases learning readiness, and cultivates cultures of care.

Family Resource Centers

Six multi-service sites helping families access housing, food, basic needs, and public benefits as well as offering grief support and parent education.

Afterschool Services

Afterschool programs for 1,000 elementary students in eight Oakland schools extend learning, nourish with food and play, and support working parents so their children can shine bright.

Trauma Transformed

EBAC’s Trauma Transformed program offers trauma-informed training to organizations and public systems, supporting recovery and resilience in children and their families.  It is a nationally-recognized model for schools , health care institutions and community organizations to follow.
